City of Galesburg, IL CLG Workshop, October 18, 2011. Working with the Illinois State Historic Preservation Agency, NAPC provided a speaker for a one-day workshop in Galesburg, IL, titled “Planning to Plan: Bringing Your Local Preservation Plan to Life.”
Oklahoma State Historic Preservation Office, Introduction to Preservation Law in Oklahoma Seminar, September 30, 2011. The Oklahoma SHPO relied on NAPC to provide a speaker for this day-long seminar to address the topics of “Effective Enforcement of Local Historic Preservation Ordinances” and “Covenants, Easements, and Other Tools for Successful Preservation.”
Preservation Delaware Historic Commissions Workshop, September 16, 2011. In response to requests from their constituents, Preservation Delaware was eager to address the topic of re-invigorating local commission members. The workshop, titled “The Long and Winding Road: Getting Success and Support Back into Your Commission’s Life,” was a resounding success.
